Can't believe it's November, my last post here was September when my little one was just starting school! It's been a busy few months to say the least! Firstly in September I hurt my back which I was then laid up for 4 weeks! It was a slow recovery I can tell you and I never thought I was ever going to get right! Then after the old back went I got the flu! I was feeling run down so I guess it thought what the hell I will give her that too! Finally I have to say I'm feeling better!

Not one to be idle even while I'm ill I have kept busy making lots of new things for my shop ArtyThreads and hubby Andrew designed me a fabulous website which I'm very chuffed about! Well I was recovering from my back injury I got the knitting bug again so I have been busy knitting and embroidering lots of new things which are now available in my Etsy Shop! I even found time to do a spot of drawing and re-vamp the Hand Embroidery Network website too! So as you can see I'm not one to just lie down and suffer!

Some of my embroidered tea cosies etc. are in a local craft showcase in Todmorden in the Information Tourist Centre with a lot of other very talented local artists and craft people! The showcase runs until the end of November if anyone wants to check them out!

I'm currently working on some knitted tea cosies, brooches and fingerless mittens at the mo (see pics below) I don't know about anyone else but when winter sets in I'm all for watching a good movie, with a hot chocolate and some knitting!

  1. Sorry to hear you've been laid up ill, glad you're feeling better though. Yes, cold weather always indicates the sofa and knitting to me too.

    Love the tea cosy.
